We're two weeks into the month of February and I realize that I didn't post at all since January! All I could manage to pen recently is a review that I will share with you.

Confession Time- My favorite new band is Velvet Sundown. Their music can be accessed several ways. My favorite method is to listen via YouTube. I enjoy their almost retro sound. The band's lyrics have a vaguely Vietnam War Era vibe.
Here's the kicker for those of you who might enjoy this music as much as l do: the band is VIRTUAL. The music is created by artificial intelligence under the direction of at least one human. I believe this human "might be" the ingeniously talented Thomas Dolby who, just before Velvet Sundown's popularity rose, publicly embraced A I as a tool for musicians, from the cover art to the actual creation of music!
While continuing to tune in and tune out under the influence of this band's words (that could be read as prose and poetry) accompanied by gentle yet powerful chords, l still have questions. If a virtual band is earning money, do they have virtual parties? Do they order a keg of virtual beer and trash a virtual hotel suite? Do they have virtual groupies and virtual girlfriends???? The questions are virtually endless!
